Ultra-Violet Radiation
There are three types of UV radiation in the environment:
UVA- not absorbed by the ozone. UVA rays penetrate more deeply into the skin and are responsible for 90% of the damage that cause premature aging.
UVB- mostly absorbed by ozone. UVB rays penetrate the outer layer of the skin and cause sunburn. UVB rays are emitted by tanning beds.
UVC- completely absorbed the ozone. UVC is completely absorbed and does not affect the skin.
Remember: UVB causes Burning and UVA causes Aging
